1. Power on your Amazon Fire TV. If it is already running, then use the ‘Home’ button to go back to the home screen. 

2. Now, go to ‘Settings’ from the home menu. 

3. Select ‘Applications’ from the Settings menu. This opens an APPLICATIONS dialog on the screen. 

4. Go to ‘Manage Installed Applications.’ The applications installed on your Amazon Fire TV will now appear in the same box. 

5. Choose the app for which you wish to remove the cache. 

6. After selecting an app, choose ‘Clear cache’ option. Doing so erases the cache stored by that application. You can now try using your Fire TV to see the problem you’re experiencing. If clearing cache doesn’t help, also clear the cookies or complete data. 

7. Return to the MANAGE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS menu and select another app to remove the cache for it. This way you can delete the cache, cookies and even data of the application you want. 

8. Select ‘Clear Cookies’ for the apps that allow removing cookies as well. 

9. And, select ‘Clear Data’ to remove the complete application data. 

Important: If you select ‘Clear Data’ for an app, this will remove everything from the app, including app progress and login information.

10. Or, select ‘Uninstall’ to remove the application with its complete data.
