Fortnite: Data miners reveal Catastrophic Earthquake for Season 8

Epic Games has been regular in introducing new content for Fortnite fans, and this time data miners have leaked a new in-game mode for the title.

In spite of having a similar map for the past three years, Fortnite developers have successfully introduced new themes for the game. With the inclusion of a snow-covered map, comets, purple cube or the rifts players got to explore new dynamics and different interactions with such changing landscapes. For the forthcoming new season 8, community members and fans have been speculating as to what new content can the Fortnite developers bring to the game. And data miners have finally disclosed a hidden keyword from the latest updates resource files. As in the past miners have successfully disclosed various upcoming events and content like the Festivus keyword was unveiled for the in-game concert by the Marshmello. Similarly, this time data miners were successful in getting their hands on the update asset resource files and have disclosed an Earthquake keyword.

This suggests that an upcoming update for the game may include an earthquake like the scenario in the game. It is not yet clear where an earthquake would happen in the game but still, this new feed has created a buzz amongst the fans, and community members. Speculations are floating around with fans claiming that it is possible that such earthquakes could be felt alongside the Tilted Towers. Recently players have also observed a trapped person inside the dungeon and players are wondering that possibly it is somewhat related to this new upcoming update. The thick ice covering at the Lonely Lodge is also starting to melt down, indicating that soon the entire map would be free from the ice sheet and gradually we would observe some significant shift in the in-game landscape. It is expected that some extreme climatic shift is on its way to the Fortnite and with the end of season 7 players believe that a certain drastic change would include the earthquake scenario in the game.

Although it is not clear yet, it may be this end of snow and an inevitable increase in temperature would result in volcano eruption creating a huge shake on the field for players. Speculations are also suggesting that this upcoming update could introduce earthquakes at regular intervals, making players defensive structures week and forcing players to indulge in close combats on the leveled field. This new update is surely turning out to be unique as no such mechanics have previously been included in the game. This would surely bring new interactions and force gamers to come up with new strategies and game plan.
